This is all from Lulu's website:
Final trimmed page size 8.25 x 10.75
*this means the page size of the pdf, with bleed, should be .25 inches larger in both width and height than the final book.
They trim all four sides of each page equally.
have a .2 or .3 gutter
DPI between 300-600 (600 dpi is the limit)
Export as individual pages and do NOT include crop or registration marks
Outline all type before you export to PDF
Don't use tints below 20% because they probably won't print correctly
Use CMYK tiffs whenever possible.
*however if original workflow was RGB don't convert it to CMYK

Does your advice work for my book? I want to make an 8.25 x 10.75 children's book where the images in the book run right to the edge of the page, NO BORDERS. Thank you.
