A Head's Up for my Last Head's Up

I just got off the phone with Chandra and she said that it is still $125 dollars to rent out the space (which we can pay for the night of or any time before that). The crappy part is that we have to split any cover charge we get 50/50 with 19 South. I tried to tell her that would leave us with barely any profit but they don't care, haha.

Also, 19 South employees are going to be collecting the money at the front door, not us. The cover charge is up to us but she suggested charging the under-agers 2$ more. Sooo she said also that we can have people at the top of the stairs to count how many people go down so that we know how much money we should be getting at the end of the night.

To me, this is going to be a lot more confusing because if we are just counting people, we aren't going to necessarily know who is underage and who isn't (obviously we will know most people, but hopefully more sophomores will show up this time)... so maybe we can work out a system for that???

As for the poster, once we get that ready we can put it in the door of 19 South. Also, we have drink specials again (1.50 domestics and 2.00 well drinks). She stressed if we advertise the drink specials, to not write specific brands. We didn't last time, but just something to keep in mind.

It's April 17th, 10-1. If everyone thinks that this is too sketchy or whatever we can always cancel. But we have to let them know sooner or later. Let me know what you all think!!!

i'm thinking of a cover charge of 5$ for underagers and 3$ for over??

oh, and p.s. i think we might want to reconsider Red Brick b/c...

a) yes, it's 180$ but we will get ALL of the proceeds from our cover charges... which will most likely end up being more than 19 south all together
b) red brick is much nicer
c) MEGA MUGS!!
d) we don't HAVE to buy a keg, and mega mugs are a sweet deal

SO SKETCHY

i dont like them collecting the money... they're so sketchy that they would probably stash some.

smells kinda fishy to me...

im not so sure about this. it sounds kinda sketchy. since we know barely anyone is going to comment on this, maybe we can talk about it on wednesday and make a final decision about things. i just dont know. meh.

Sam has a good point.. $180 will be considerably cheaper when we factor in half of the cover charge.. and even if we dont buy a keg.. it'll still be sweet.. I'm voting redbrick.

thats so super sketchy. the idea of them collecting the money and keeping 50% of it... red brick is actually sounding like the better deal
