at this point, Scott runs out of small talk.

Scott: uh so I hear there's a huge herpes outbreak with the hipsters around here.. it's pretty fucked up, huh?
HG: yeah that's legit, I've heard the same thing.
Scott: yeah? do you know a lot of people with it??
HG: yeah, every guy I've fucked in like the past year.

Scott doesnt understand what the girl is implying here.
